Sargent Law Takes Directed Verdict in Recent Trial Win

Congratulations to Sargent Law, P.C., attorney Monica Bohuslav, who recently obtained a directed verdict for a long standing firm client. A directed verdict is one where the judge orders the jury to return a decision for a certain side in cases where no reasonable jury could reach a decision to the contrary.

When the Plaintiff would not accept our client’s final offer of settlement, the case proceeded to trial in a Dallas County Court at Law. After successfully challenging the Plaintiff’s evidence, the Court granted the directed verdict. Monica’s efforts on behalf of our client is just another example of our attorneys’ willingness to “go to the mat” to take the win.
