Greyson Ackerman

Greyson Ackerman once thought he might have a career in real estate but was inspired by his father – an attorney himself – to pursue a career in the law. Before entering civil litigation, Greyson spent two and a half years as a prosecutor at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where he led or second-chaired multiple jury trials and gained valuable experience on how to speak and present to judges and juries. As an associate at Simon Greenstone Panatier, Greyson represented plaintiffs suffering from mesothelioma and other asbestos-related illnesses, guiding them through every stage of the legal process

Greyson is a detail-oriented trial attorney who brings experience from both sides of the courtroom to his current work. At Sargent Law, Greyson conducts in-depth discovery, prepares and defends clients in depositions, evaluates claims, and develops trial strategy. Known for being highly accessible and communicative, he builds strong relationships with his clients and makes sure they’re always up to date. When he doesn’t immediately have an answer to a question, he goes out and finds it.

Greyson earned his J.D. from UNT Dallas College of Law in 2019, where he was a Teaching Fellow and a member of the Mock Trial Team. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business with a minor in finance and completed a study abroad program in Barcelona, Spain. Outside of work, Greyson enjoys OU football, reading, working out, and spending time with his wife and their dog.
