Sargent Law Announces New Attorney R. Martin Dungan
Sargent Law, P.C., is proud to welcome attorney R. Martin Dungan to the firm as Associate. Martin focuses his practice and has represented a number of clients in transportation, labor and employment, insurance defense, premises liability and appellate matters.
As a member of the Sargent Law team, Martin has represented transportation companies in catastrophic injury cases from initial case analysis through final appeal; defended companies sued by clients in a variety of personal injury claims; pursued subrogation against adverse insureds who caused injury to corporate clients; and served as lead attorney on a variety of discovery responsibilities.
Martin is a member of the American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. He also volunteers as a member of CASA Children’s Counsel, a children’s advocacy organization.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from the SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information and Operations Management – Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.
Martin is a Dallas native raised in Coppell, Texas. In his spare time he can be found on the tennis courts, judging undergraduate and law school moot court or mock trial competitions, and coaching his own moot court teams at SMU Dedman School of Law.
